Sommige reizigers zijn er gevoeliger aan dan anderen en factoren zoals de leeftijd, de gezondheidstoestand en het aantal doorkruiste tijdzones spelen eveneens een rol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>De <strong>meest frequente symptomen<\/strong> zijn hoofdpijn, vermoeidheid, ori\u00ebntatieproblemen, irriteerbaarheid, lichte depressie, constipatie of diarree.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Hoe jetlag vermijden?<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0<\/span>V\u00f3\u00f3r het vertrek:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bereid u fysiek voor<\/strong> op uw reis: eet evenwichtig en blijf fysiek actief gedurende de dagen die uw vertrek voorafgaan. Vermijd de stress die gelinkt is aan de laatste voorbereidingen van de reis (formaliteiten, boeking, bagage, \u2026).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Pas uw\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong>slaapritme geleidelijk aan<\/strong> aan de tijdzone van het land dat u gaat bezoeken. Begin 3 \u00e0 4 dagen voor uw afreis door de bedtijd een half uurtje te verplaatsen. (Voor een reis naar het oosten gaat u een half uurtje vroeger slapen, voor een reis naar het westen een half uurtje later).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Gedurende de vlucht:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Synchroniseer u<\/strong> met de tijdzone van de bestemming. Na het opstijgen is het best zich zo snel mogelijk aan te passen aan het ritme en het uur van het land van bestemming: zet uw horloge gelijk met de plaatselijke tijd, slaap gedurende de uren die er overeenstemmen met de nacht (maar vermijd hierbij de inname van slaappillen!) en eet op tijdstippen die overeenstemmen met de uren van de maaltijden van uw bestemmelingsland.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0Spaar uw lichaam.<\/strong> Eet lichte maaltijden, vermijd alcoholische dranken en drink veel water. Stimuleer uw bloedsomloop door u af en toe te strekken of door even door de middengang van het vliegtuig te wandelen.<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Bij aankomst:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ga ervan uit dat uw lichaam gemiddeld <strong>\u00e9\u00e9n dag per uurverschil<\/strong> nodig heeft om zich aan te passen.
